11. 3월, 모든 일에 때가 있다.

3월이 왔다.

좋은 일이 일어날 것만 같고
매주 기쁜 소식이
나를 기다리고 있을 거 같다.

가장 좋아하는 성경이 뭐예요?
라고 질문을 받았을 때
자신 있게 답하는 사람을
부러워할 때가 있었다.

그런데
이제 시간이 흘러
나 또한 웃으며 답을 할 수 있게 되었다.
참 감사하다.

나는 늘
전도서 라고 대답한다.
그중에서도 3장.

1   There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2     a time to be born and a time to die,
    a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3     a time to kill and a time to heal,
    a time to tear down and a time to build,
4     a time to weep and a time to laugh,
    a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5     a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
    a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6     a time to search and a time to give up,
    a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7     a time to tear and a time to mend,
    a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8     a time to love and a time to hate,
    a time for war and a time for peace.

그리고

11절
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet [a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

때를 따라 아름답게 하셨고
또 사람들에게 영원을 사모하는 마음을 주셨다.
그러나,
하나님이 하시는 일의 시작과 끝을
No one can fathom
그 누구도 헤아리지도 측량할 수도 없게 하셨다.

그분의 사랑에 잠겨
이번 한 달도 은혜가운데
감사가 넘치길

나도
우리 가족들도
이웃들도
그리고 이 글을 읽는 당신에게도

주님이 주신
이 아름다운 시기를
잘 걸어 나아가길

덜도 말고
더도 말고

가장 선한 방법으로
나를, 당신을 이끌고 계심을
항상 기억하며

언제가 마지막일지 모르는
어르신들을 마주할 때
늘 최선을 다할 것.
사랑을 담아 말할 것.
그분들을 위해 기도할 것.
